For our dance teams, couples and individuals, we will also be giving away other great prizes (almost as great as the Grand Prize) for most money raised. For instance, the winning Little Feet team will all get to go to the Audubon Zoo, Insectarium or Aquarium! That’s pretty cool.We will also have an on-going raffle through the night, giving away items such as the Tar Ball, Midnight Sun, and Flare!—our specialty drinks.
There are three main contests:
- Most Money Raised
- Best Costume
- Best Dance Moves
- Best Burlesque
There will be prizes for each of the contests within each of the participant categories. For example, there will be a most money raised prize for individuals, couples, teams, and little feet teams. There will also be a most money raised prize for the individual who raised the most money, across the board (that’s the Grand Prize….Brass Pass and art bike!!)
Best costume and dance moves will simply go by the categories: one of each for individuals, couples, teams, and little feet teams. Burlesque will only be for the adult teams.
Prizes for most money raised will include such items as spa packages, nights-out and passes to different locations and events throughout NOLA and the surrounding area.
* Bucket Brigade staff do not qualify for the Grand Prize.
